Once upon a time, there was a girl named Skye Forbes. Skye was a mostly happy child who loved to read. One day, Skye discovered that not all books ended happily! She was crushed. “The world should be a happy place!” she cried. Her father agreed. With her mother's help, she set to read many, many happy books. And on her quest, Skye discovered Romance Novels.

She was so pleased with her discovery of a whole genre of books that ended happily that she plopped herself down and swore she'd never read any other kind of book again. (Of course, she eventually had to, because she read too fast and ran out of romance novels, but that's a story for another time).

Skye so loved Romance Novels that she decided, in her last year of college, to try writing one, instead of writing a regular boring old intellectual thesis about a book that doesn't end happily. Since then, she's dabbled with many subgenres of the Romance category and been happy writing ever since.

Skye now lives with her co-pilot, Craig, in Oregon, with their three cats and their puppy. She attends law school, but does not intend to let school stop writing her own happy endings.
